Who we are

This site is published by Halcyon Seaside Resort, a resort and residential community under development on Old Bay Shore Road, Bellhaven, Calder County, Florida. Where this policy says “we” or “us”, it means the development entity behind that project and the people acting for it.

The resort is not open. We are not taking reservations, and there is no front desk. Everything you send through this site reaches a small team.

What we collect

We only collect what you type into this site, plus a small amount of technical information that any web server records.

Information you give us

• Inquiry form — your name, email address, country of residence, WhatsApp number if you choose to add one, and whether you are inquiring about an E2 or EB-5 visa.
• Opening list — your email address.
• Email and phone — if you write to us or call, whatever you choose to tell us.

Information collected automatically

• Standard server logs: IP address, browser and device type, the pages you opened and when.
• This site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google’s servers when a page loads. That request carries your IP address and is governed by Google’s own privacy policy.
• The inquiry form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which collects device and behavior signals to tell people from bots. Google’s privacy policy and terms apply to that.

The inquiry form asks whether you are exploring an E2 or EB-5 visa. Answering is optional, and we use it only to route your inquiry to someone who can answer it. Please do not send passport numbers, immigration file numbers, financial statements or other identification documents through this form. If your inquiry needs any of that, we will tell you a secure way to send it.

What we use it for

• To answer your inquiry and continue the conversation you started.
• To send construction updates, opening dates and reservation windows, if you asked to be on the opening list.
• To keep the site working, secure and reasonably fast.
• To meet our legal and record-keeping obligations.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.

Who else sees it

Your information reaches other parties only where it has to:

• Service providers who host this site, deliver our email and run our inquiry and mailing tools, acting on our instructions.
• The resort operator and our professional advisers, where your inquiry is something they need to answer.
• Authorities, where the law requires it.

Marketing, and how to stop it

If you join the opening list you will hear from us a few times a year, not more. Every email carries an unsubscribe link, and it works immediately. You can also write to info@halcyonseaside.com and ask to come off the list. Asking to stop marketing does not stop us replying to an inquiry you have open with us.

Cookies

This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies, and does not run third-party analytics. If that changes, this policy will change with it and the site will ask for your agreement first where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Inquiries are kept for as long as the conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards, so we can pick up where we left off. Opening-list addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Server logs are kept for a short period for security and troubleshooting.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, or to object to how we are using it. Florida residents have specific rights under the Florida Digital Bill of Rights, and residents of other states and countries may have equivalent rights under their own law.

To exercise any of these, write to info@halcyonseaside.com. We will not treat you differently for asking.

Children

This site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us something, write to us and we will delete it.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect what you send us. No website or email system is perfectly secure, so please do not send us anything confidential through the inquiry form.

Changes

The project is still being built, and this policy will be updated as the business behind it takes its final shape. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
